Material Supply Systems
Pail Racks
![]() |
The pail rack option on all of EMC˛ dispensing systems is the
cleanest, easiest way to supply adhesive to the metering units.
The Pail Rack is designed to hold (2) 5 gallon pails in a
position to gravity feed the metering system. Hold down straps,
all fittings and hoses required to make the connections are
included. Pails are usually used in portable applications or
when volumes are so low that 55 gallon drums are not warranted. |
Drum Racks
![]() |
The
standard Drum rack is the easiest way to supply our dispensing
systems when the application allows for gravity feed. The Drum
Rack is designed to hold (4) 55 gallon drums. The top drum of
each material is the supply and the lower drum acts like a
reservoir to guarantee non-stop operation while changing
materials. The drum rack system includes all fittings and hoses
required to make the connections, as well as desiccant dryers
and fittings for moisture sensitive materials. Drums are usually
used in stationary applications where adhesive usage is
relatively high. |
Pail Rack with Reservoir
![]() |
This
pail rack was designed to save floor space when 55 gallon drums
are too large. The five gallon pails flow into a Teflon* lined,
15 gallon reservoir. The reservoir then flows into the metering
system. The pails are loaded onto cradles at a low height (about
33”). The pails are then swung up to a vertical position before
the material hoses are connected. Low level sensors indicate
when a pail needs changing while the reservoir has enough volume
to keep production uninterrupted. |
Drum Rack with Reservoir
![]() |
The
Drum rack with a reservoir is a step up from the standard drum
rack because it features an engineered reservoir to replace the
bottom drum. This system is designed to hold (2) 55 gallon drums
over the top of (2) Teflon* lined, 15 or 30 gallon reservoirs.
The drum rack system includes all fittings and hoses required to
make the connections as well as desiccant dryers and fittings
for moisture sensitive materials. The reservoir design makes it
especially useful when the material you are using has a tendency
to settle out over time. Drum racks with reservoirs are usually
used in stationary applications where adhesive usage is
relatively high. |
Tote Systems
![]() |
Tote systems are generally used in high volume applications with
gravity fed materials. The standard tote holds approximately 345
gallons of material and has a bottom outlet as well as ports for
desiccants or nitrogen blankets. The Tote stand is a solidly
built frame that allows rear loading of the two totes, which are
mounted high enough to gravity feed reservoirs or supply pumps.
To make replacement easy, all of the fittings and hoses have
quick disconnects. |
5 Gallon Pail Pumps
![]() |
EMC˛ can supply a wide variety of 5 gallon pail pumps to meet
the requirements of any dispensing system. The pumps are
available in a variety of materials, ratios and designs and can
supply materials at pressures from 500 psi to 6500 psi. For
continuous operation requirements, the pumps can be fitted with
crossover systems and devices which can send signals to the
control system or turn on audible alarms. |

Temperature Conditioning Systems
![]() |
With efficient heating and cooling methods, EMC ˛ can provide
systems designed to control and maintain proper material
temperatures, allowing your adhesive and the dispensing
equipment to operate at their peak performance year round. We’ve
designed a versatile array of options to provide you with
maximum performance, control and access to your material and
pumping system. EMC˛ can help you centralize your storage/supply
and dispensing operations by designing temperature controlled
header systems, rooms and conditioning systems. This maximizes
floor space and gives you better quality and process control. |
Conditioned and Non-Conditioned Headers
![]() |
Header supply systems are used when multiple dispensing systems
are involved or when it is physically impossible to fit the
supply next to the dispensing systems. Header supply systems can
be as simple as a few feet of black pipe or as intricate as a
thousand feet of header supply with temperature controlled,
welded systems mounted overhead in your plant. Whatever your
need is, you can be sure that EMC ˛ has the experience to design
your header supply system requirements. |
